Do people who dislike using the 'ethical' qualifier tend to be okay with the 'consensual' qualifier?

I was long under the impression that because nonmonogamy does indeed include cheating, that saying 'ethical nonmonogamy' was simply a way to distinguish that this was nonmonogamy that wasn't cheating.
