Pleasure mapping is all about exploring sensuality. When done right, it helps you and your partner(s) identify new places on your bodies that feel good to touch and have touched.

It can also reveal what kind of touch to use in these new places, as well as new ways to stimulate some of the erogenous and erotic zones you already know about.

Here’s how it works.

Let go of expectations.

We often put a lot of pressure on ourselves to act a certain way or like certain things when it comes to sex.

With pleasure mapping, we flip that idea on its head. Rather than expecting yourself to like or do anything, you’re encouraged to instead let go of any expectations.

This includes orgasm.

If you orgasm during a pleasure mapping activity, that’s fine. It happens sometimes, but not usually.
